A few words from co-founder (also co-founder of Polar Skate Co.) and designer Pontus Alv;
I like turning dreams into reality. I love creating & making things; everything from the perfect shaped board to solving the skaters "pants nightmare". They say, if you can't find it design it or if you are unhappy with something well shut up and make it better.
My first big dream in life was to become a pro-skater in U.S.A which felt like an impossible mission in the 90's. Well at least when you live in a small town in Sweden. With a bit of luck a bit of talent and what not somehow that happened.
At some point in my pro-days I felt that I wanted to express my own ideas create my own films & projects. Present my perspective on our culture and show how we via DIY spirits, community, friendship can create great things together... (dream two)
Well about about 10 years ago I felt that I no longer could connect with the direction our industry was going, it felt stale & strange. So I started my own board company, Polar Skate Co (dream three)
The past years or so when I look out at the so called skate shoe landscape there is something about it that feels off & weird these huge corporations running things their way... It's a feeling and like I said above if your are unhappy with a situation shut up and do something about it...(dream four has started). – Alv

VM001
The VM001 is Last Resorts first shoe. It was made solely with skateboarding in mind - in every detail. A simple silhouette just the way we (skateboarders) like it. The VM001 is offered in a high and low top version, suede or canvas - the canvas versions have a hidden rubber layer for durability and are vegan friendly. The shoe has a slightly pointed toe shape which is reportedly very very good for flick control. 
VM002
The VM002 as you can imagine by the name, is the 2nd silhouette released by the brand. Same fit as the VM001 with a slightly more snub-nose toe box with finely tuned dimensions for skateboarding and beyond. VM002 features a bold, highly textured foxing tape, slightly larger top line measurement and slightly higher heel measurement grip and stability. Last Resort focus on the details because that's what matters.
VM003
The latest style from Last Resort AB, debuted with a collaborative colourway with brand Dancer CPH. It features all the superior hidden details that it's predecessor do as well as a slightly higher top line. The VM003 comes in a high and low, suede and canvas as well. Last Resort feeling very proud of themselves with their latest creation, for them it's all about fine tuning and dimensions, just try the shoes out and you'll understand.
